COUP 22 aimed at the distribution of hope. Through symbolic systems, I shared an image with context daily while quarantining during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this spell, creating collages as reflections, dealt with lock down. In collages, I brought the tarot in relation to ancient masks; art objects with religious significance. These documents reflect the past and the future represented in the present.

During production, I worked in sets of 22; to which I refer to as ‘documents with spirits’. An approach deriving from The Great Arcana as part of the tarot that indicates a secret. In my ritual, this secret relates to a production community in conversation: an “illusional reality” of connectedness shaping this process.
